Day 46 - high calorie
My 1st high calorie day has come & gone… so, did I reach my TDEE goal of 2505.98 calories? Keep on reading to find out.
Here is my Day 46 recap:
- 6.5 hours of sleep

5. Dumbbell Preacher curl (biceps)
6. Reverse Barbell Curl (biceps/brachialis/forearm)
7. Floor crunches (abs)
8. Reverse Crunches (abs)- TOTAL time - 1:15
- TOTAL calories burned -426 calories
- Steps walked - 7,749
- Water - 6 (32 oz bottles) = 192 oz.
- Eating- still trying to keep my meal ratios to:
- 40% carbs
35% protein
25% fat Today is my high calories day (TDEE -maintenance/2505.98 calorie goal)
Meal Macro-nutrient Ratios: (Drum roll please……..)
Protein- 35.3% (right on the money!!!)
Carbohydrates- 46.1% ( a bit high)
Fats- 23.3%
TOTAL calories = 2135
** So… I didn’t reach my goal of 2505 calories ( I was about 371 calories off) - however, I did surpass my low calorie days by 381 calories. Meal planning is a must if you want to get your ratios just right. I think I’ve done just ok for the 1st week and I know that with more organization & planning I will be able to get this down to a “T”.
Tomorrow is back to 1754 again… i’m soooo relieved!! I honestly feel kinda guilty because I ate sooo many calories today. But I know it’s necessary to keep my body from going into starvation mode since I’m burning up many many calories with my workouts. I’m still losing inches & weight so that’s good.
That’s it for now…

This is the road map to weight-loss. Many people have no clue of the effectiveness of zig-zagging calories. It is definitely the way to long-term weight-loss.

Yes, yes, yes. I am now figuring that out. My high calorie day did not set me back one bit like I feared… still getting used to counting my ratios, but one day soon, it will be so automatic I will have it down in a heart beat! I’m also more aware fo what i’m putting into my body.
