Day 19
YAY!!! After almost 4 months over 200 lbs, the scale has gone down to under 200!!! I’m down another 1/2 inch from my belly! My thighs & hips are also shrinking & I think i’m starting to see some muscle definition. I’m just soooo happy!

Before I forget… Yesterday I failed to mention that my husband bought the medium size pretzel bites from pretzel maker (I’m guessing there is about 25 or more of those little things in there) & I only ate 5 pretzel bites … now that I know how many calories they have, I will keep it at 5 or less.
(Sorry love!)
Anyhow… I’m starting this early so I won’t forget stuff…
Here is Day 19 recap:
- 6 hours of sleep
- Exercise for today- Played racquetball with hubby (1 hr), abs, stretching
- TOTAL time = 1 hour 26 minutes
- TOTAL calories burned = 892 calories
- 11,605 steps walked (2:41:19)
- Water- Very Good, 7 (20oz) bottles, 6 (16 oz.) bottles = 236 oz.
- Eating- Good
- Breakfast- 4 egg whites, 1 egg, 1 Kashi Go Lean Blueberry waffle
- Snack - Change of command at work (5 baby carrots, 7 cubes of cheese, 6 cherry tomatoes, 4 red grapes, 14 green grapes)
- Lunch - Ground turkey on a Whole Grain tortilla
- Snack - apple
- Dinner - Went to the movies (1 bag of Lite popcorn (220 calories), 1 pickle, 5 nacho tostadas)
Hubby & I went to the new movie theatres that just opened. There was NO way that I was gonna eat that popcorn, so I got a little sneaky (and cheap ;-)) & I brought some from home. Calories saved = A LOT!!! (about 800 i’m guessing). Usually I would eat the whole bag of movie theatre popcorn + seconds!!! YIKES!
- Vilma’s choice of popcorn = Pop Secret 94% fat free microwave popcorn (about 12 cups) = 240 calories, 4 g of fat, 760 mg of sodium, 52 g of carbs, 8 g of fiber, 8 g of protein.
- Large movie theatre popcorn = (20 cups) YIKES!!! 1657 calories.
- Officially saved myself 1417 calories!!! YAY!!! I’m gonna be sneaky & cheap more often!!!
Oh yeah… also had a pickle which only has about 5 -10 calories and almost 300 mg of sodium. Nacho chips… probably about 150 calories??? Would have to look into that one.
Anyhow… it was a good day. Burned a heck of a lot of calories and ate fairly well. Tomorrow I am planning to go to the gym and do some lower body weight training…

So… someone commented on my day 19 post today and said that I am drinking too much water… and that I might DIE!!!

You are drinking too much water. This can be very dangerous. People can die from drinking that much water. It depletes your body of vitamins and minerals. You also get water from the food you eat, so you don’t need to drink more than 64 ounces of water in a day.
Thanks for your comment Alexa. I honestly don’t think that i’m drinking too much water… 8-10 8 oz. glasses a day (64-80 oz.) is a GENERAL guideline. Water needs may vary depending on a number of factors… and I actually think that 64 oz. is WAY TOO LOW for me. Maybe I need to do some research on this… Hmmmmm…..
THAT will be my mission for this week. I will post my findings soon. If anyone has any imput it would greatly be appreciated.
