Day 111 - STUCK
I gotta admit it… I’m STUCK. My progress has stalled for over 1 month now & i’m starting to feel the”old me” wanting to come back into the picture. The “turning to food” type of girl that will eat non-stop just because she is sad, upset or whatever. I had been losing 1-2 lbs consistantly for the past 3 months (Feb-May) and then my Detox Experiment happend and I started working Full Time. Working Full time has significantly decreased the opportunities that I have to workout.
I was looking back at some old workout stats back when my weightloss was consistant, and I was averaging about 5-7 hours of exercise burning around 4500 calories every 7 days!!! For the past month or so, exercise has been almost non-existent except for my Civilian Fitness Program Classes & a couple of Body Weight Circuits that i’ve done. I’m now averaging about 2 hours of exercise & burning a lot less calories.
My eating habits have also remained the same… somewhat consistantly eating healthy but still consuming the calories of someone that is very active, which I have not been for the past month. So…. what’s next then?
I have many options to choose from.
- Kick all my progress to the curb and start eating like a maniac again
- Stop exercising all together
- Starve myself
- Go on an extreme diet
- Start exercising more
- Start eating to accomodate activity level
I choose the last two.
And I will continue to choose those. That is what’s different about me this time around. My mindset is different and I know that this is a long lifetime journey that I am committed to maintain. I know what I have to do… I just have to START DOING IT!
I’m going to have to plan EXTRA hard this coming week because I will almost have NO time to workout out at all in the evening because we are having VBS at our church. Waking up early is not something I like to do, but will have to start doing in order to meat my exercise goal of 5 hours.
That’s it for my rant today…. Thanks for reading!

Hey girl, you’re doing great! Don’t fret. Look at some of my old posts (remember the one where I asked how long I’d be stuck in the 180’s?) but I broke through it (almost in the 150’s now!) My advice (for what it’s worth lol) TURBO JAM! Those workouts are short and burn TONS of calories in a short time. The 20 minute workout, the Burn portion of Learn & Burn, and Ab Jam, all are 20 minutes or less and according to my heart rate monitor meet or beat my steady state cardio numbers. Also if you have the advanced DVD’s Turbo Jam Fat Blaster a HIIT workout clocks in just under 30 minutes. Also 3T is a full body resistance routine and is also 30 minutes. I’ve been doing the shorter workouts myself so I can spend more time in prayer and Bible study. The 180’s are tough, but once you break through them, you’re through them!
OT: Can you explain a little more about what PN is all about? I’m currently following BFL guidlines and my ratios are 40-40-20 right now. It won’t let me view your pics without buying a package, unless I’m clicking the wrong links.
Thanks Chica, you’re awesome!

Hey Kass,
This is the direct link to my thread:

You can sign up for free to view all the post’s and stuff, but you won’t be able to post or view certain stuff which are reserved for full membership (people that already own PN) so I don’t know if you’ll be able to see my before pics.
PN is basically a way of eating… what I have been doing for many many years BFL, BFFM, YOU on a diet — meaning balanced eating plans. Some things are a bit different, but it also comes with a lot of GREAT online resources (DVD’s, Audio, Workout Plans & great help.)
Thanks for the encouragement… I’ve been wanting to buy the TT Fat Blaster CD for quite some time now but haven’t had the chance. I first set of Turbo Jam workouts, & Tae -Bo stuff so those will have to do for last minute workouts until I start working part time again.

Hee Hee… VIP is great!
My initials are actualy VEP. Well today was the “official” start day to the transformation challenge & I got my Turbulence Training Workout in this morning, so that’s done! This week I will be in the gym most mornings as I will not have any time in the afternoons or evenings. I hope to make it a habit as well. Thanks for checking up on me & for the email with the suggested websites!!!
