Daily Journal 9/15/2007
So here I am on a sunny Saturday afternoon… and I haven’t really accomplished much. I’m feeling fairly lazy but overwhelmed at all the things I need & would like to do for today, tomorrow, next week, next month, the next 12 weeks, the next year & the rest of my life!!!!
AHHHHHH!!!! I tend to overcomplicated things and then I get frustrated & give up all together. It’s happended in various projects, my education, my spiritual life, & in my weightloss journey — among other things.
I need to come up with a list.
A list of the top 100 things I would like to accomplish (besides daily things). I will post them in a specific post when it’s completed & scratch them off once they are done.
Here are couple off the top of my head to get me started (no particular order yet):
- Be at my ideal goal weight of (140-150 lbs)
- Play guitar at church
- Finish A degree (Kinesiology, CIS/Management, Health/Management)
- Start studying for personal training certification (order study materials)
- Put away $1000 in the Emergency Fund
- Save $3000 for trip to Ecuador
- Organize all my photos (paper & digital) in albums & online albums
- Pay off all immediate debt (credit cards, car loans, personal loans, collections)
- Pay off all school loans
- Qualify for our 1st home loan
- Have a successful home business
- Have baby #1
- Have baby #2
- Travel to every state in the US
- Attend the US Open (tennis)
- Attend the French Open (tennis)
- Travel to Europe
Ok… that’s it for now. More later…

Hi Vilma,
Love your blog!
Yes…relax and just do what you can, with what you have to do with, from where you are…each day…and things will begin to simply fall into place.
I found it helped me to just make a list of six things each evening that I feel are priority to get done the next day…then cross them off as I complete each one…and … yes, if any left undone, just start the next day’s list with the undone one(s) at the top.
Sounds almost too simple…but it worked so well I’ve continued this for over twelve years now.
Keep shinin’,

Daily Muscle, Kass & DJ,
THANK YOU for your kind words and support! I’m the Queen of procrastination & have been and will continue to work on this till the day I die probably.
Lists seem to work for me and I will get back on that for everything I can think of.
DJ, your tip seems doable and I will start implementing this TODAY.
Thanks again & thanks for reading!
