Blog Schedule

I remember seeing this idea used by a fellow blogger at Fit on a Budget & I thought it could get me started on getting organized and back on track for 2008.

So this will be the posting schedule for VP Health & Fitness for now:

Mondays:  Weekly update on how i’m doing on my fitness journey

Tuesday: Any interesting article or news that is exercise and/or fitness related

Wednesday: Healthy Recipes

Thursday: Any interesting article or news that is related to nutrition

Friday: Other (Frugal living, Organizational Tips, Finances, etc…)

Saturday: My updated Stats & Measurements

Sunday: Day of rest

* I will also be posting Daily Journals here and there when I have something interesting to talk about or just feel like rambling. :D

I’m looking for a new theme…

Be on the lookout for a new “look” for my blog coming soon.  I’m currently hunting for a new, user friendly, 3 column theme where I can keep my logo and add more stuff (categories, links, widgets, etc…) without it looking messy. 

I’ve also been trying to go back and update all my links (i’m currently on the month of April).  If you see a link that is re-directing to my old blog, please let me know by using the CONTACT ME page or leaving a comment below.

*UPDATE*  9-21-2007

Currenlty i’m divided between a couple of themes:

- I tried out this free theme for about a day, but couldn’t customize the colors & banner image and I lost my archives page.

-  I’m also looking in to this $20 premium theme from Sadish.  He is the creator of the current theme i’m using now.

This CSS and style stuff if new to me, so i’m learning as I go.  Please be patient!  If you have words of wisdom and would like to help me in customizing the free theme, please let me know!

Welcome home!

Welcome to my new site everyone!  As you can see, not much has changed, only my website address.  I have dropped the wordpress & now it’s just http://vphealthandfitness.com !!!!!

I’m so exited to be back!  I will be doing all my updates here from now on, so PLEASE change the links to your blogrolls & favorites!  I still have the tedious task of going through every single post and redirecting & linking everything to this site now because some highlighted links are still going back to my wordpress blog, so bare with me.  I have not even updated on my various challenges but that is coming… SOON!!! 

For now, I will leave you with a couple of stats on me…

I’m under 190 lbs FINALLY!!!! My scale actually registered at 187.5 the other day and it’s been fluctuating between 187.5 and 189.  Maybe it was all the stress???

Workout Stats for last week (Aug 27 - Sept 02) were as following:

  • Official Exercise Count: 6
  • Exercise Time: 4.18 hours
  • Total Calories Burned: 3,158

So far this week (Sep 03 - Sep 09), i’ve only exercised once which was this past Monday. I played 58 minutes of B-Ball and burned 712 cals.  Need to get on the ball since I only have  3 days left!!!!

Can I exercise in my sleep????

HA!  I wish!

Where did I go???

I will keep this short & simple as I am a serious need of some beauty/health sleep.  Some of you may have noticed that my site was down for a couple of days this past Labor Day weekend.  I just want to thank God that all the mess has been resolved and VP Health & Fitness is back up and running again. 

Through all the chaos and insanity, I started up a new blog on Blogger in my attempt to try and save all that I possibly could.  I will still leave that site up but will be doing most, if not all, of my updates and post here on wordpress.

I apologize for any inconvenience that his may have caused and thank you those that have given me advice, words of support and understanding.  I appreciate you all VERY MUCH!!!!

Now…. back to blogging — and for me, some much needed catch up on my sleep. 

I will be back tomorrow to update on my various weekly program updates.
