Day 5 - GOOD morning! :o)

March 30, 2007 By: Vilma Perez Category: Daily Journal, Stats & Measurements No Comments →

Like I had previously mentioned… today my husband and I are going on our little “road-trip” to see a close friend. She’s having a sweet 16 party, so I will have no control on what is served to eat. Our hotel does have a little fitness gym, so I’m planning to use that tonight and tomorrow.

Good news! Since I started this blog (Monday-3/26/07) I have lost 2 pounds & and couple of inches! YAY!!!

As promised, here are my weekend stats- weight, waist, & hips (Complete stats will only be updated every 4 weeks)

Beginning: Weight 204 lbs ; Waist 39.5 inches ; Hips 48.5 inches ; BMI: 31.7; Body Fat % : 38.1

Current: Weight 202 lbs ; Waist 38 inches ; Hips 48 inches ; BMI: 31.4 ; Body Fat % : 36.3

The medicine must be working because i’m feeling soooo much better. Therefore, I will be making a little trip to the gym before getting ready for the road-trip.

Day 4 - recap

March 30, 2007 By: Vilma Perez Category: Daily Journal No Comments →

My goodness… I’m completely under the weather today… again… for the 3rd time since February. This El Paso weather is crazy! One day it’s 80 degrees and the next day it’s like 60!!! I also think that my body is adjusting to my workouts.

I have taken some medicine & I hope to feel better by tomorrow morning so I can do some light lifting & cardio before our little “road trip” to tucson. Anyhow… here is day four recap:

  • 5-6 hours of sleep
  • Calories burned- didn’t do any official “training” or cardio, but I know my body is still burning calories. So, I don’t have “official” calories burned for today. Showry.
  • 5497 steps walked (1:25:47)
  • Water- didn’t really keep track today… I know it wasn’t as much as i’m use to drinking becaue I am THRISTY right now!!! I know for sure I drank the “recommended” 8 glasses a day… I always drink that by the end of the morning. :o)
  • Eating-UHHH!!! Breakfast & Morning snack was good, but it just went down hill from there!! I think I might be coming up on that TOTM soon.
    • Breakfast- WW Egg burrito (2 eggwhites, 1 egg, 1 slice of turkey breast, 1 TBSP shredded cheese),
    • Snack- 1 mozerella stick, 1 apple
    • Lunch- Burger King (I know… I know… remember the movie Supersize Me) This is what I ate: 6 pc Cheesy Tots-small (210 calories; 12g FAT; 4.5g SAT Fat; 2g TRANS FAT!!!; 20mg of Cholesterol; 650mg sodium; 20g Carbs; 2g Fiber; 1g sugar; 7g protein) UGHH!!! I should of just gotten a side salad! VERY BAD CHOICE!!!
    • Snack- Campbells healthy choice Chicken and rice soup (with about 1 cup of Baked Cheetos)
    • Snack- 7 oreo cookies
    • Dinner - 1 cup of Baked Cheetos, 2 cups of popcorn, 7 oreo cookies.

Tomorrow I absolutely have to do some serious cardio, eat clean, and drink LOTS of water to get rid of all that sodium that I took in!!! YIKES!!! Although MY official weigh in is not until Saturday morning (that’s when I weigh myself) I am going to do it tomorrow so I know how much I weigh when I go on the trip. My goal this weekend is to eat as clean as I can since I will have no control on what will be served at the reception and to come back at the same weight or maybe less. I’m sooo happy that the hotel that we will be staying at has a little gym! Horray! :-)
Gotta get some sleep!

Good night!
